Winners of 2014 Open Studio National Printmaking Awards Announced
Toronto, ON — May 16, 2014 — Open Studio, Canada’s leading printmaking centre, is pleased to announce the winners of the seventh annual Open Studio National Printmaking Awards, presented last night at Open Studio’s 29th annual 100 Prints fundraising event at the Palais Royale. The winners are:
- First Prize ($3,000): Dan Steeves (Sackville, NB)
- Second Prize ($1,500): Doug Guildford (Toronto, ON/Voglers Cove, NS)
- Third Prize ($500): Dan O’Neill (Halifax, NS)
Artists Elizabeth D’Agostino (Toronto, ON), Kurt Pammer (Toronto, ON), and Laura Widmer (Kelowna, BC) were also recognized with Honourable Mentions.
